Portrait - Watercolor - Deb Watson

I was going to paint one of the grandsons this morning from the Christmas play. When I saw his little classmate in the photo, I decided to paint her now and the grandson tomorrow. Girls have lots more interesting hair, although I think the boys do more interesting stuff (like the last rock climber...)

In February, my theme for the daily paintings is sweet young things. I like painting kids. They're young, playful and happy. www.debwatson.org

MORNING ???
OK, probably because you aren't on facebook 24/7 like I am.
Such a cutie patootie she is. And yes, the personality looks like she's about to get into something. N I C E.

She's simply precious Debi! I can't believe you painted her so quickly. Can I come over there and watch and learn? I paint like a sloth!

Yay! Another fast prolific painter to join me in my misery. Deb, this child is so sweet and I think your series of them will be so endearing.
