NPR story on Antoine de Bougainville

Just got a request from NPR to use my "Bougainvillea Blossoms" for a story about botanist Louis Antoine de Bougainville on their blog. My image must have come up in a Google search. I'm very happy to contribute to NPR in any way I can. This 6" x 8" oil on canvas is available on my website. About Artcolony

The members of ArtColony are professional artists who have been showing their work for numerous decades and who compete on national and international levels. Many are workshop instructors and several are published authors.

Membership is selective and relegated to a small number. Prospective members are juried by the Artcolony Board of Directors and, depending upon the number of openings, are extended an invitation based upon: (1) a personal association and recommendation by a current member, (2) the review of the artist's body of work, and (3) the level of work within the artist's chosen media. For this reason, Artcolony is not a blog membership that is fully open to the public for participation.
