OOOh do we get a photo of the location too? It sounds an idilic spot for a gallery. This painting is a beauty
Congratulations Diane! How great! If I ever get to stop there, I'll make sure to come see your work. Such beautiful country!
I am so happy for you! You were looking for a place for your watercolors! How terrific is that!!! And I love these pears! I think the more you do oils, the more your watercolors become denser and richer and appear like an oil painting! This is very classic!!! wow!
Wow is right! These pears jump off the page. What a neat place any would love to visit or stay. I'm thrilled you have found this charming gallery.
congratulations Diane! You go girl!!
Idlewild IS a beautiful little town. One of my high school friends just sold her cabin up there. It is right across the street from Cafe Amore on the corner. She bought it as a fixer upper then sold it. She does that with her houses too. The location was also close to a gallery but I don't remember the name of it. Alot of tourists go there. Congratulations and Good Luck!
Yay Diane! What a wonderful place for your work! You are such an inspiration!!!I'm certain you will do well there! Oh...and those pears...mmmm! Exquisitely done! Bravo!!!
